    Job Description

    This role will plan, direct, and implement policies for all areas of human resources, including: staffing, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety, and compliance. The HR/Payroll Manager will report to the CFO.

    Key specific responsibilities include:

    • Manage human resources by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling staff
    • Performance management; appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions
    • Analysis and oversight of benefit plans
    • Administer staff compensation and compensation structure; evaluate competitive, market rate compensation
    • Support management by providing human resources advice and HR decision making
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures; maintain and update employee handbook as necessary
    • Communicate and model organization values
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including labor laws, equal opportunity laws, and immigration laws.; comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements
    • Perform payroll functions, including payroll production, quarterly and annual tax reports, employment tax remittances, and employee personnel file maintenance

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
    • Minimum 2 or more years human resources experience
    • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills.
    • Attention to detail and excellent judgement.
    • Proficiency in computer programs, including payroll systems, spreadsheets, email, internet, and word processing

    Preferred Qualifications

    • SHRM certification

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
