    Program Summary: The presentation will cover the differences and rights of emotional support animals, therapy animal teams, and services dogs. Pertinent laws and regulations in regards to ADA and the Fair Housing Act will be covered. The presentation will also include the various types of service dogs and their training, as performed at Service Dogs for America in Jud, North Dakota.

    Learning Objectives: 

    • Understand service dog training
    • Learn about emotional support animals
    • Learn about therapy animal teams and service dogs in relation to workplace compliance under ADA and fair housing.

    Bio of Speaker: Marty Douglas has been volunteering for Service Dogs for America for over 4 years. She works to help with education, awareness, fund development, and fostering of service dogs in training.
