Our July Chapter meeting will be held next Thursday, July12th at Scheels Conference Room in the Columbia Mall. The doors will open at 11:30am for members to network and the program will begin at 11:45am. Please see our program summary below.
Topic: Five Social Media Questions Employers Should Consider
Program Summary: This program will instruct attendees on various legal implications surrounding the use and regulation of social media in the employment context.
Learning Objectives: Attendees will gain familiarity of the legal issues implicated by social media in the employment setting.
Bio: Kristy Albrecht is a shareholder at Fredrikson & Byron in Fargo, North Dakota and a member of the Employment & Labor, Litigation, Transportation and Appellate Groups. She advises employers on a variety of employment law issues, including hiring, firing, discipline, employee leave laws, employee handbooks, drug and alcohol policies sand separation agreements. Kristy holds a number of honors including being named Super Lawyer by Great Plains Super Lawyers magazine and named America’s Leading Lawyers for Business for 10+ years.
