    Chief Human Resource Officer Panel

    Program Summary:

    You have heard it time and time again: HR needs to be a strategic business partner.  But, how do we ensure our HR goals are aligned to the organization's goals and become a true business partner? To help you and your business leaders answer this question, join our panel participants and learn ways to drive the Business through Strategic Planning.

    Learning Objectives:

    • Learn from CHRO’s on how they have created and implemented leadership development initiatives that are linked to their business strategy of their organization
    • How CHRO’s have implemented change management strategy to address specific organizational needs
    • How CHRO’s have participated as  members of the senior management team setting objectives for contract negotiations, researching alternatives and establishing and measuring goals achieved as a result of negotiations
    • Finally how CHRO’s have participated in due diligence and decision-making regarding mergers, restructuring, divestitures, etc.

    Bio:

    Bob Feeley

    Bob is the Director of Human Resources at Acme Tools since 2014. Prior, to Acme Tools, Bob served in several strategic HR roles in different industries with companies such as Amazon, Monogram Food, PepsiAmericas, and Community National Bank. Bob holds a Masters in HR from Central Michigan University.

    Kelsey Roth

    Kelsey is the Director of HR at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota. In her role, Roth is responsible for compensation, benefits, HR analytics, HR information systems, and the Talent Partner team and employee relations. Before joining BCBSND, Roth worked for Amazon as the regional HR manager of the Americas region, overseeing locations in North and Central America.  Roth graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in communications from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, N.D. She went on to earn a master's in human resources management at the University of Mary in Bismarck, N.D

    Shane Zutz

    Shane is the Director of Human Resources at Digi-Key in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.  Shane came to the HR industry on a different than ‘normal’ path and is excited to talk about his path that along with how his experience in Education helps him be successful in his current role. Zutz is a very talented leader who brings a focus on talent development and positive work culture into Digi-Key.
