This month's Chapter meeting will be featuring Kathy Kulesa, Human Rights Director, North Dakota Department of Labor and she will be speaking to us on the ADA and Reasonable Accommodations:
· The North Dakota Department of Labor is responsible for enforcing wage and hour laws such as minimum wage, overtime, breaks, and youth employment. Kathy will review these laws and share some of her outcomes from past investigations.
· Her office is also responsible for enforcing the American with Disabilities Act. Kathy will review ADA protection and how this protection applies during the hiring process and throughout the employment relationship.
